Revitalized RMIT University’s online course booking system with a user-centric ed-tech platform

Challenge

RMIT University was facing significant challenges with their outdated online course booking and payment system, resulting in a loss of market share and dissatisfaction among users.

Approach

Inné Digital was brought on board to revitalize RMIT’s online course booking and e-commerce payment platform. We began by conducting a comprehensive market analysis, examining both ed-tech providers and competitive universities to identify best practices and innovative solutions. User research played a critical role, helping us understand the pain points and preferences of RMIT’s students and prospective users.

Armed with insights, our team designed a cutting-edge user experience focused on simplifying the course booking process and enhancing the e-commerce payment system. We prioritized customer conversion and a smooth purchase experience, employing agile methodologies to rapidly iterate on the design and implement feedback.

Solution

The revamped online platform features a streamlined, intuitive user interface that facilitates easy navigation and quick course bookings. The e-commerce elements were overhauled to provide a seamless and secure payment experience, reassuring users and encouraging completions. The platform’s design was crafted to be responsive, ensuring accessibility and a consistent experience across all devices.

Outcome

The new online course booking platform has dramatically improved the user experience, significantly boosting customer satisfaction and conversion rates. RMIT University has reclaimed its competitive edge in the Australian education market, with the platform serving as a cornerstone of their digital strategy. The project has not only enhanced RMIT’s reputation but has also contributed to increased enrollments and revenue.
